Wayne I have moved this to bike tech where more people are likely to see it and give you an answer.

You can go for either the Standard £130 or Advance £160, they both come with the lead for attaching music. The phone can be connect via cable or bluetooth, the bluetooth module will set you back £90 ouch or the cable option £15. Additional headset for a pillion will cost another £30.

The standard version is perfectly fine and can be run off a 9v battery instead of having it bike powered. Advance will give you a much smaller unit, no battery option, mic sensitivity controls, volume balance between rider & pillion and selectale sidetones so that you can hear yourself speaking in the headphones.

Give them a ring on 01480 399499 if you have any queries they are very helpful.

Now that is what I need. I have the basic Starcom (it's all there was in them days) and my son can get very excited telling me about his cricket matches on the way home, so I do keep having to ask him not to shout because it hurts my ear (one is a bit hard of hearing so not bothered).
I echo the comments that the guys at Starcom are very helpful. Tell them you were recommended by this site.
I have bluetooth for he phone but I'm not sure it's really worth it. I'm going to be wiring up the phone so that on long journey's it charges, so plugging it in each time will not be that much of a pain.
