I need an extended top brake line for my TA after fitting some small risers on the bars. Local brake boys are no good, so it looks as if I will have to get one made and have it posted. Anyone got a recommendation please?

try Hel, I had their brakes lines on my transalp and i'm sure they make one-offs.

Yep......HEL will do one-offs as long as you specify what you want.
They made the custom lines I needed when I fitted an 1150 front end to one of my 1100GS`s.

In the end, I went to the local dealer as recommended as they can make up hoses, but to no avail. They suggested I went to Friction Hydraulics in St Georges, Telford and I had it made up while I waited. At 8 quid, worth the wait!! They will also do full lines using goodridge braided hose, again at a sensible price.
I have been dealing with them for farm hydraulic pipework and airline stuff for years and never thought about them!![]()

How high are your handlebar raisers??
Ik raised mine with 25mm and nothing needs to be extended!!

Hmmm, strange... as i said before I raised mine with 25mm with no troubles.
Oh,I think I have the answer. If I put the raisers on, I'm going offroad, so I adjust the handlebar to it's most upright position. This gives just a little more slack on the brake line and therefore no need for extensions.
I think you have the handlebar a bit more leaning toward you and stretching the brake line.

Spot on. I am looking for a more "relaxed" feel to the ride, I do not need the hunched up position as it plays hell with my back and now my elbow has "somethingy tendonititis" or "like tennis elbow, but slightly different" which is nice!!![]()
It stopped my planned trip to Barcelona and the Pyrenees a fortnight ago which was not nice either...![]()
