Hope somebody can help.
Bought second hand sp111 a few years ago but its info is totally out of date.
Im running a series num 5 file when the current one is num 8.[hope this makes sense.]
I am unable to update this as I am missing a crucial disc.
Can anybody help ?
If I sent you the card could you update it ???

if you fancey taking a ride over this way your welcome to load your card up from my stuff (excuse techy term) otherwise you will never know what will end up on it if i do it

if you are meaning the mapsource, its now on version 9 and putting Chad's software onto your card will not work as your unti is not registered to him. Trust me i've tried it with my brothers V9 before i had to go out and get it. The only way is to have Chad register your unit as his second unit and then it would work.

not overly sure as i'm new to GPS but if you go into your "my garmin" account and just add another device. Thing is that i can't be registered in anyone else's name unless they notify Garmin to say they have sold it to you. I know that _____ did it, well he had an SPIII and sold it to ______ or someone but kept it registered in his own name, then bought a Quest and registered it. Now he can update both and only buy one copy of the software.
