    Bike to Bike Radio

I've been thinking of Bike to Bike enabling my Autocom to join in with the big boys on the Haggis run.
As I wouldn't normally want to use Bike to Bike I was looking at cheaper options.
Sam at Chainspeed has recommended the Motorola T5622 Twin pack which is two radios. Now I don't need 2 so wondered if someone wanted to come in with me to halve the cost?
Curry's have the set for £60.00. Anyone interested?

I'll also be buying the PTT switch and Autocom lead as well which I can get for you interested.

    Re: Bike to Bike Radio

The Midland radios are better than Motorola at that price range. Keep checking on eBay and see if any one is selling a Kenwood Tk3101 should be around the same price, a much better radio. Get the PTT. leads and power kit from Autocom and you're laughing.

If you are still wanting the pair of radios try and get the Midland G7 then search the internet for adjusting the output. It just a simple desolder then it's 0.5 watts to 5 watts output.

    Re: Bike to Bike Radio

The problem is that I don't know what to get. I don't want to spend much money... as I'll hardly use it, but I want to play with the big boys.
I trust Sam's judgement as its his job and he said to get either the Kenwood TK3201 or the Motorola T5622 , the latter he said was at the budget end but was reasonable.

The one's in the links, the ICOM, are they any good?

I think so Dave, certainly as good as the Kenwood.
