Loud engine noise

Well I am kind of unusual person here because I am not talking about Honda bike. I am talking now about SMC quad but it does not matter because the problem is engine which is 1:1 Honda clone. It is the same classic 250cc L2 twin which is found in Honda CB250 streetbike, Rebel 250 cruiser and in probably in some other bikes too.

After a very stressful day (lots of high revs + low oil level) I noticed that the engine has became louder. And not from exhaust opening. It is normal engine sound but louder and coming from engine block itself. I can not see any holes in pipes and can not see them in cylinder block. Also I did not notice loss of power oil leaking or decrease in fuel economy. Everything seems OK but the engine emits loud exhaust sound.

Can I leave it like that and ride? Or will it become worse?

I think I found the problem. Hot exhaust air is flowing between cylinder head and rest of engine block. It seems like blown up cylinder head gasket.

Question is - can I leave it like that?

Asked Mr Mabel and he said no you cant leave it like it, because it is an aluminium block / head you need to let it cool for at least 18 hours you also need to know if they are prestretched head bolts and you may need to get the head skimmed if there is any damage
