    Wheel Bearings

Just checking... but is it possible for wheel bearings to be going if I hear a noise between 45 - 55 and neither side of that?
I will check for play in the front wheel in the morning, but I can hear a definite sound coming from the front wheel between these speeds that isn't brake related.
It could be the TKC's just being noisy of course as I've just put them back on.

    Re: Wheel Bearings

The only thing I'd say is the wheel bearings would have to be badly gone to notice play, whereas they could be quite stiff without any play. I replaced some recently on my spare wheels and having noticed the difference will replace them on my good wheels too.
