GPS compatibility issues

Hopefully somebody might be able to answer this question as I've emailed Garmin 5 times with it so far and they can't be arsed to reply. I basically want to install the Garmin MapSource WorldMap DVD (Garmin Part Number: 010-10215-01) onto my Quest for my trip to Africa and all I really want to know is will this software work with the Garmen Quest Unit. I can buy the software locally, but all they want to do is take my money and haven't a clue about compatibility issues and advise to contact Garmin ???, So if anyone has some experience of this, I would be grateful for any advice.

Yes World map went into my Quest fine. If you have the UK version you can store most of the world on it just leaving out the bits you definately aren't going to visit. The detail is not great with only major routes and railways, lakes etc shown but it got me out of Alexandria OK two years ago. The rest of the group thought I was using the Force or something! Its miles better than the base map and at least you have always got something map wise wherever you go.

Under "MapsSource Compatibility" select WorldMap, and the lower drop-down list shows the Quest and Quest 2 as being compatible.
