Probably just modern work ethic mate, either that or a sign of the growing symptom of a "can't be @rsed to have an original thought in my head" mentality. Maybe it's just me, but last time I was in UK(9 years ago), I actually got the impression that alot of the service sector employees enjoyed being negative to customers. (Not all I grant you, but most I came across).

Or this one. Just get a couple of bends, chop to get req angle, bit of straight tube then you only need someone to weld it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=006

Couple of places in the North East will do it. You can even sling them your full system originals and say 'copy uz them mate' and come away smiling a week later polishing your stainless!

Speaking of which would there be any interest in completing the venom set up with a set of headers in SS for the RD07 as I may do just that and slap em for a discount on a few. Don't get too excited as it will be long term thing with no rushing around but I'll offer it up when I get round to it.

Xander - down here on the coast, if ever I've needed any tube fabrication I've gone to one of the many Marine Engineering companies we have down here - logical really as that's what some of them specialise in - pushpits, pulpits, stanchions, etc............all in 316 (or 304 for the cowboys )

If you want to go down this route let me know and I'll find a couple for you to speak to (or if it helps, send me a diagram of what you require and I'll pop into one......)

    Re: automotive engineer

the problem is its stainless, stainless dont bend like normal steel and most companies that can bent steel (like us) doesn't want the hassle that it can be. also there is no money in doing one off work as the time put in is never anywhere near what you can bill!!

US Automotive at bedford have an exhaust Mandel bender but as far as i know they dont get involved with stainless too however ask for steve and explain what you want as they may agree to bend what you supply... you will still need to get a local metal worker to snot it up but if its all cut to size and shape they shouldnt be so unwilling to do it.
