    BLOBs "big lads on bikes"

    Hi all,
Ive been off the scene for a wee while, as I was made redundant from my leftie youth work job but now have a real job, at least I have to wear a suit to work and not play as much pool as usual.
But I need a pair of textile over trousers I can wear over the suit( I already use the Hein gerick touring jacket .... vg kit) but their trousers dont fit. Im 40 waist 36" leg and having played rugby for years thights and butt slightly enlarged. OK Ive a big arse, any way does anyone know of any gear makers that do armoured trousers that may fit me.

    Lardie boys unite.
RWB rd07, remus can, dynojet and K&N filter, givi racks, givi hard cases, oxford soft luggage, tourance tires, 12v power socket, oxford heated grips, centre stand, touring scottoiler, very bright headlights.oh yes and a tank cover and bag.

Good prices, good delivery times too. I played rugby for 16 years, loosehead prop, their stuff fits me perfectly. Goodluck!

I wear suit for work. When I go to work on the bike, I carry the suit in a ruck sack or top box with my shoes. The suit doesn't get creased up even after 120 miles. That way you can wear the correct fitting armoured suit. If the armoured suit is loose the protection will not work effectively as it will move out of the areas needed in the event of a crash. The better the fit the better the protection. Exactly as you would do with a helmet - i.e. you would not get a helmet that is bigger so you can wear a cap inside it.

    Regards

    Paul

BLOB's lol Never heard that before, I think we should form our own club, anyway being a skinny 38" waist and 6'2" I still have the same problem.

A couple of years ago I bought a cheapo Lewis textile jacket / suit. I've stopped using the jacket however the leggings are brilliant. They fit over a pair of jeans. Were still warm enough this morning at -3 without any thermal lining. The only drawback is they aren't breathable, however for the 30min ride to work this isn't a problem. They are starting to show there age so I'm hoping they still make them.

I tried Heine Gericke to try and get some legging that would fit me over my jeans but with no luck

Already been done and I'm a paid up member, anyone under 17 stone need not apply, good to see you back on the scene Phoenix, when are you down this side of the island next ?, I'll have a look at the NEC show next weekend for a suitable pair of big "A" trousers.

BTW how did you manage to get fired from a voluntary youth work job
