Whats my Box?

Hi.

Just baught a Transalp and it came with a Topbox fixing plate already on.
But no top box.

I have no idea, as i'm new to this, what make and model of box this plate is for.

If anyone has any idea what its for that would be great.

Or any site that might help.

I thought Givi but their site does not show pics of the mounting plates. Grrrr.

It looks very similar, but I don't have a Honda top box, I think..... Whealie has one, he should be able to tell you.

Standard Honda mounting plate for their boxes.

Just found a few on Ebay with pics of the plates.

Now i just need to find a cheep one.lol.

thats def OEM honda, but if all you want is a topbox i would consider swapping it for a givi/kappa plate, they are only about £15 and that would open up a vast choice of boxes, new or 2nd hand. as far as i know only the honda boxes fit on the honda plate.

strange to see they only gave you the plate and kept the box, they usually come together as one is useless without the other!

the box could've been broken i suppose, it happens, or someone out there might be scratching his head wondering how to fit the box he just bought on ebay!!
