Forgot to tighten my front brake clamp >> Tip

I replaced my first front tyre by myself!!

But when riding to work today my front brakes made some noise ...

After a while suddely i lost brake pressure, i had to pump several times to get braking power again.

When i pulled over I saw my brake clamp hanging lose



What happened here?!?! .... I forgot to tighten the clamp because I let the bolts in place. So when inspecting everything, everything seemed correct but they were not tightened at all.


Tip from me: When unscrewing bolts, remove them!!


Then you know you have not thightend them yet!! When letting them in place, they may apear tightened and you WILL forget one eventually!!!
