    Main Wiring Loom

In connection with my bike fire, I need a new main wiring loom. I've got the chance of one from an RD04. Does anyone know is this will fit my bike which is an RD07?

    Thanks
    Neil

no idea mate, i dont even know what an RD07 is

But i would have thought the 04 loom would have a few bits missing from the 07 version, assuming the numbers are like my XL650V-6, the 6 means it's a 2006 model, and hence has a few emisions controll bits added that the earlier bikes prolly didnt have, i noted my bike has a throttle position sensor... even tho it has carbs,

Check out the Haynes manual and you will see quite a few differences...
and they are major. First being the fuse box and second being the ICU.
HT coils are different (2 instead of 4 on the RD07). Fuel level sensors, TPS,
interlock diodes..and the list goes on. Fugetaboutit.
