XR 400R ignition question: lost spark?

I have also posted this in the XR forum.

I have a Vapor computer to fit to my XR next month. The instructions say I need to set+up the Pulses Per Revolution as 0,5, 1 or 2. I guess this equates to 2 stroke, 4 stroke and lost spark 4 stroke....

Can anyone tell me which setting is the one for an XR? In other words does it have a lost spark ignition, firing on the exhaust stroke also?

And what PPR setting does this equate to on the Vapor set-up?

A curious rationale.....please explain how you arrived at that deduction.......

I can`t see how it`s going to distinguish between 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines.

By the way,the 'lost spark' principle normally only applies to a twin outlet coil as fitted singly to twin cylinder engines or in pairs on four cylinder engines.

    Nope..can`t help ya

The critical word in my previous post was "guess"...
