    Over Trousers

My Trusty ex BT waterproof padded orange overtruosers have after 8 years of being worn every day finally given up, they were made by a Scotish company called McBean, on looking up McBean on Google found the sad news that they went into receivership last year.
Does anyone know where I can get a good pair of waterproof overtrousers that have a long zip up the leg that can be put on over boots/trousers, it would be good if they came in other than black, as everone saw me comming in the old orange ones.

    Re: Over Trousers

i don't know if its the same thing, but i occasionally use my dad's coastguard over trousers. They are luminous yellow (really high vis!) with shoulder straps and heavy duty zips around the ankles which go up to the knee. there also really warm and very waterproof.

i think you can get them at Mole-Avon, try giving them a ring too see what they got and if they can deliver.

    hope it helps, will

Rev-it "Curve" overtrousers do it for me and best I have ever had, but dunno if they will last 8 years though. Available in black or red. No zip but the best and simplest leg opening I have come across.

No over trouser will last 7 years they are made to fall apart after 2 any longer and the firm will fall apart.
