    Airhawk seats????

Bought a couple of these & heres my verdict after 5k, yes, they delay onset of 'numb bumb' time but who the h*ll designed the things????

A motorcycle 'comfort' seat that is made of some super absorbent material, yes, I always find it comfortable having a cold wet a*se

Cold wind in the UK sir? wind blows through the seat, creating a cold a*se, even when it's not raining, the cold then spreads into my lower back creating discomfort there

Verdict - BRILLIANT (if you can get one for 20 quid and live in a warm climate where it never rains.....).

If anyone has some goretex sheet & can use a sewing maching please contact me.

    Whinge over

Happily, I have never used mine in anything more than an extended shower without having waterproofs on.....

It is a hard call I suppose, with what material to cover it with.

They are all waterproof the only difference between the two models is the longevity of the materials they use, plastic or neoprene.
However the mesh on the top does seem to collect water.... but then again when wearing waterproofs most of the time that doesn't cause me a problem.
I've never had a problem with air though.
They certainly don't suit everyone but as you all know I swear by mine....

Someone called? Can I ask what size you ordered for your bike? Did you get one for the pillion too? Was actually thinking of getting a set due to my med problem, wondered if I could use the same set for both @ and the coming 990 Adventure?

I bought the medium cruiser in plastic and bought a pillion one for V but the pillion one wasn't such a good fit, so changed it for another medium cruiser, I'd say they'd be suitable for most applications (unless it's wet.....)

    Phil,
Would you consider lending them to me? I am taking the missus to France and wouldn't mind giving them a try.
New Hagon shock should be here by then, which will improve the ride but the numb bumb is still an issue.

Might be too much of a gamble. I am back on Sunday 9 June so even with guaranteed next day delivery posted on Monday you might be delayed waiting for it. Never mind.
If one is borrowable though I might give it a whirl. It would be appropriate pampering for the good lady wife.
