boot sizes?

i've never worn, or owned a pair of mx/enduro style boots, but i hear people saying that its good to get boots which are a size larger than you foot size, i dont know why

so if i'm a size 10, is it worth me going up to a size 11, or shall i get a snug fitting 10, from anyones experience whats best? and does 1 size up make any difference at all?

I'm buying online, so i wont be able to try out. any help would be really really appreciated.

I've just bought the Sidi MX boots, they're a size 10 1/2s. my normal loafers are 10s

It just helps as a thicker pair of socks help reduce the vibration I've had in the past which is 'cos of the vibration thru the hard soles. Well, that's my excuse.

All you've gotta do then is learn to walk

You'll understand why buy it gets easier. And don't forget to move the gear lever up a notch to help the foot get under the lever for changing gear.

i take it that it would probably be more beneficial for me to choose a size slightly bigger than my own. i suppose thick ski socks can fill any extra space.
