Yup I'm putting a Vapor on my XT600. I've seen Snapper's excellent pics, but it looks like he has large hoses on his AT with which to attach the coolant temperature sensors. Has anyone here put the sensor into an XT600 which is mostly pissy thin hoses ?
I can probably bodge it eventually, but if someone else has done the brainsweat bit, I'll happily copy them
(As an aside, this is my finding to a question which went unanswered in a previous thred. I tried being clever and wiring the Vapor tacho input directly across the bike's tachometer. I thought I could be clever and program it to do what's needed. It can't be done apparently as at one point the signal actually falls as the revs are rising. I gave in eventually and just wound the cable around a plug lead like they tell you to do - It's fine now of course, but I'm just one of those people who has to do things the hard way).
Anyway if anyone has done the coolant sensor thing, please add photos to your answer as I have the visual perception of a brick.
TIA,
Shorty
