Side Stand

can any of you post pictures of how a side stand is attactched im trying to put one on my bike but cant think where or how to fit it any help would be great thanks.

I reckon you'll get plenty of replies if you can let us know the model of bike and year ........did your bike ever have a sidestand or are you looking to put one on as an aftermarket item?

Any pics of the bike as well would help

I assume you mean you are trying to attatch one to your CR125 and want pictures from other people with similar bikes to show how their side stands are fitted to help you decide where to fit one to your bike that doesn't have one as standard? Or am I wrong?

If it's a clamp on type that you get to go on a bike that normally doesn't have one I've seen one on one of the bottom frame tubes under the motor.

got it from an ebay store

i was thinking about taking off the left foot peg and bolting the side stand on under that then putting the footpeg back on over the top

I can't see why that wouldn't work. TBH I thought it looked like the type of auxilary stand that you see on the right hand side of farm bikes etc. I also think it might be designed to be attached to the swing arm?
