Raymo I see you did this with a Ignitech unit, are they still trading?
    Yes:

    IgniTech

    e-mail them with your questions.

The ignition systems for the mighty XLV750R and the Transalp are not the same.

    Thanks Kjell

We have emailed them about 5 days ago but no reply yet so thought they might not be around anymore.

yop no problems with the availability of the Ignitech unit

    Yahoo! Groups

quite a few folk have converted to them the above link refers a very recent change over but there was also a fuel problem, which was eventually cured by cleaning the crud out of the tank and blowing the fuel lines clear

if your exciter coild are fine, then you could fit the unit and leave the existing CDIs in place as a spare, I replaced mine as the exciter coils were failing.

    cheers
