I need some machining work done

I'm in need of some machining work done, (eg; making a couple of profiled, round washers/discs a couple of inches in diameter & about 15mm thick), made from steel or Aluminium.

Anyone able/willing to do the job or know of someone willing to take on smaller jobs, without breaking the bank.

    Thanks, Phil

    Whats it for Phil?
setting the machine is what cost the most not the actual production if there are chances of selling off a few you might cut some costs,

I was just gonna fit an Ohlins rear spring (which I already have) to my Hagon shock, so just a one off job really.

    Hi piguglyshandydrinker
you should give Double O a wee shout he has a light engineering company in Bradford. He may be able to do the work himself or will definately know someone who does. failing tht Ive a mate here who does machining.

    50mm o/d , what is the i/d ?
I expect you could find some 50mm o/d tube with suitable wall thickness.
scaffolding tube is about 50mm o/d, but i suspect too big i/d.
I know someone your way that may be able to help, i'll PM you his number.

Ok, thanks for the replies all.

I'll give Lens mate a bell as he is most local, if I have no luck there I'll be back in touch.

    Thanks again, Phil
