Winter Gloves VS Heated OVER grips?

Ok I don’t really want to remove my recently fitted Rethal grips and was wandering if the Heated over Grips were any good just encase my Hein Gericke Pathans cant handle the icey weather on my early morning commute.

You can fit heat sleeves that wrap over the grips and plug in
or use the grandad style muffs

and street cred or not I am tempted for the muffs and sleeves with summer gloves

I wore mine the last time we went skiing in Austria and that was-22degreesC and my hands were fine then, on the flip side of that my Salomon Gore-tex skiing gloves i now use on the Varadero in the winter as they are even warmer and less fiddley getting your fingers in the holes, because you'll agree with this when you pull a hot sweaty hand out of them it pulls all the lining out with the fingers

It is roughly the same temperature down here as it is in southhampton
