Exhaust Repairs

Does anyone have any experience with repairing rusted exhausts? My 96 dommie has a couple of pin holes in the pipes running into the muffler, now I know Divid Silver ould like £200+ off me for new ones but the rest of the exhausts are in good nick so I'd like to get the winter and another MOT out of them. Anyone tried repair tape?

Not sure but think repair tape is an MOT fail if sighted? Could be wrong.
If it's just pin holes then use exhaust paste (Halfords do small tubs of it), basically a filler that you dab on, start the motor and the heat sets it rock hard.

Hi mate I've used pop rivets in the past for small repairs and you'd be surprised how long they last, this will also get you through your mot with no problems. good luck.
