Pannier rack

Hi all.
I've just bought a pair of throw over panniers from e-bay and now need to make a pannier rack to protect the right hand one from the Remus exhaust. I think i have seen on here that someone made one from copper pipe, but can't find the thread I have access to the tools to do this but if someone has done one already it will save time experementing with design fitting etc.
Hope you've all made the most of the good weather and hit that open road........ I have to work

Hello chalky4,

I had the same problem. I got round it by reshaping a metal wire 'filling" tray, to form a cage around the exhaust. Total cost about £1 . If you want I will post some pictures. Let me know!

Cheers

Billy if your pictures are hosted on an external site then you can post them by copying the image location, the pasting it here with the text after it.

If not then you can email them to me and I can post them up for you.
