    Betty Swollocks

Summer is on its way and by all count its going to be a summer, in the winter I have no problem staying warm, but I suffer in the summer.
I have allways worn textile trousers with protection all over the shop, (Knee, hip, coxis)
They have got vents but only help when your going at speed as soon as I stop the waterworks are on and legs start to stick.
What are your recommendations for touring
    Leathers ??
    Textiles ??
    Kevlar jeans ??

I've got a Halverssons textile suit with removable liners and vents everywhere. What I do is wear a base layer which wicks the sweat away from the skin and stops the suit sticking to you.
With my Aerostich shorts and T shirt and all the vents open.

In tropical climes, I use these, they're good and cheap. The company's delivery is very fast and efficient.

I like toweling cloth under the suit then sweat is soaked up and I stay comfortable.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

I'm just too damn cool to sweat

But perhaps the textile suit with goretex liner helps in some way???

    Re: Betty Swollocks

Good question, I have the same problem.

I was looking at the HG pants that Vader's got (Cruise Goretex) but they don't make that specific model anymore. Vader's pants have Goretex liner and massive zip vents across the front.

They now do a Goretex pant with smaller zips, not sure if that would do the trick.

When riding in high temperatures, the pants I wear underneath my current textiles get drenched with sweat in mere minutes...

Rode with mesh pants for a while, problem with those is that you need to stop to put on waterproof pants over them when it starts to rain...

My solution last year, go to Scotland for the summer ride, didn't sweat a day in the whole trip

Kevlar jeans all the way baby

I'm using Draggin's at the moment with the velcro - in armour on the knees, but when they need replacing I will go for HooD as they can have the armour built into pockets for convenience.

Lidl and Aldi have just had some motorbike gear weekends and they often sell the Coolmax tops and pants

I use Coolmax gear because they work and keep me comfortable though I've not tried the Aldi Lidl offerings as I've always got there too late

The stuff will work under leathers or textile

I prefer to ride in textile suits now with plenty of zipped vents
