    Re: Brake Light

Th switch may be held on by two micro screws it is only a plastic thing.
The buses use 8 on each door and they are constantly wearing out.
Go to your local dealer and buy a new one then just replace, it plugs into the loom under the fairing.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: Brake Light

Had the reverse with the foot brake not working. As Romeo One said, took the unit apart and cleaned it - the contacts were just corroded.

If the brake light is working then the connection must be at the switch not the light itself.

Turns out it was the switch alright - the guy in the shop just replaced it with one he had, happy braking!!
