    on another note (hijack, hijack!)

Do you have to change the oil filter everytime you change the oil?

I've noticed the oil going a bit dark so want to change it, but the last service was less than 2000miles ago (7 months) and i'm wondering whether I can get away with just changing the oil.

    Any ideas?

You could, but because the system isn't being completely drained when you fill it up and start it, it will turn dark almost straight away. Oil filters are cheap and easy to change, so its worth while doing them both at the same time

Its all about the condition of the engine .

My engine is at top condition, perfect fuel burn , does not burn oil.

So in a healthy engine , I do two complete oil changes , and I replace the filter at the third .
Tip : always genuine Honda filters ..

    Geia soy, Kiriakost

I had a Dommie which burnt way too much oil and at the end iof my "relationship" with her I put whatevere oil I had around, she was going to drink it anyway.

Now in my 2003 Transalp I pay a lot more attention to oil and such things.

    Apo pou eise? Athina?

    Cheers!

Well , I have no idea how a " Dommie " behaves about motor oil .

The engine of the NX 250 , is a friendly well made engine .

My first one ... started to burn a bit of oil , after the first 12 years of ownership, and the problem solved by replacing the piston rings .

    Apo volo eimai patrioti .
