Looks like the clutch cable on my 1993 600 Transalp is on it's last few strands before it snaps. I have a replacement but not sure how easier a job it is or if there is anything i need to look out for?![]()

It's a doddle job. tape the ends of the old and new together and pull new one in while you pull the old one out. slacken it off handle bar end, conect to arm on engine, connect to lever and adjust up. no as hard as it looks, take your time and oil the new one before connecting to the lever on the bars,it'll add life to it.
Well just changed it over just need to get used to the new biting point.
But looking at the old cable definitely glad i changed it:
