    Fairing Crack...

While washing the bike this morning i noticed this along the side of my fairing...

This is why i don't wash my bike too often

Crack about 5 inches long, now i don't want this to go any further but have no idea how to stop it. Is there a special tape/paste or whatever i can use or am i looking at a new fairing somewhere down the road?

Dunno how it happened but in anycase it's there now. Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Craig.

The best way to stop the crack travelling is to drill a small hole right at the end of it!, Sounds dramatic I know, When I had my bodyshop I spent a lot of hours fixing car bumpers and the like and believe me it works, then with some care you could try knitting the back of the crack back together with a soldering iron, or rough the area up with some 80 grit sandpaper and use some fibreglass mat and resin to add to the structure......the roughing up with 80 grit will give a key for the resin to grip
