    Screen trim

I've just fitted my new flip up screen to the varadero and the screen trim strip off the old screen obviously now isn't long enough, nobody seems to sell the trim in lengths other than 1 metre which just won't look right, does anyone sell longer pieces ?

    Have you tried Halfords?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Re: Screen trim

I've seen trim advertised on their website, but it doesn't say how long it is, might phone the store and ask someone to go and measure it for me !

that stuff looks pants, do without it. get some very fine grit emery paper and smooth the edge of the screen down. it looks loads better.

    Re: Screen trim

I had a similar experience with my genuine Honda tall screen. The trim peeled off and became flappy. So i threw it away. I think it looks better without.

    Re: Screen trim

I've also removed the trim. It added to the turbulence caused by the screen; removing it reduced the turbulence very slightly - and throwing it away is free!
