    ATC3k action cam problems ??

Having problems with my ATC3k vid cam . keeps switching off . I think it must be because of vibrations . It is meant to be an "action cam" , but even slighty rough tarmac seems to be a problem .Has anyone else had same problems ? Did you come up with a solution ?
Im gonna try some tape around batteries to stop them moving as they don't seem to be a tight fit . i just don't want to get them stuck inside .
Im wanting to get some footage of TLD , but while i've been trying it today , haven't managed more than about 2min before it goes off ( very frustrating)

I have the 5k, i can only suggest the right type of battery and do up the door holding them tighter, and check it off the bike to see if it still does it.

batteries are standard AA . Using ones that came with it . Battery cover doesn't seem to be loose (flap type hinged on one side , clips on opposite . then cover screws on . I have tryed shaking it around at home and it doesn't go off , but when on bike it does !!!

If it uses AA batteries then try stretching the springs slightly to get a better grip of the batteries.

I have one and haven't had that type of problem yet, so I interested in what you find out mate. I actually wrap some electrical tape and a litlle bit of foam rubber around the handle bars, under the mounting, to also help with the vibration, especially on the KTM.
Piece of advice though, if you do mount it on your helmet, don't believe that it will stay there with what OS supply in the box! Mine came off, or was rather ripped off my helmet at 150kph, whilst filming a KTM ride. Went back to get it, fearing the worst, but although the camera had switched off, and the outer housing a bit scuffed, everything worked fine, never had an operational blip with it yet!

Never had any problems with mine, it's been submerged dropped and bounced only thing i have done is turned sound recording off as all you seem to get is wind noise and the fact that the microphone is internally sealed it makes it seem muffled. I use 2700mA battereis in mine they last for ages certainly longer than my 4Gb card will

Problems seems to be solved . I wrapped some insulating tape around batteries to increase radius a bit so they were a tighter fit and don't wobble around inside battery compartment . I also added small strips of plastic slightly longer than battery so that i could pull them out now that they were tight fitting .
On thing i did find was traveling at speed ( 80 / 90 mph) with cam facing forward , wind would gradually make cam rotate in holder making for some interesting camera angles .Again tape will fix this .

That would suggest that you have the wrong Batteries in the camera.
