Van transport

Hi all,
I am heading home to Scotland (from London) with my Alp in August.
Can't be bothered driving all the way.

I am on my Alp every day and is my sole mode of transport. And whilst I've travelled the country far and wide and all over Europe on it, I have lost the will for driving all the way on it on the motorways ........... like driving a giant wind sock at 90mph and taking 2 days (there and back) out of my week's break.

So, has anyone transported their bike to somewhere else in the country? If so, who did you use? How did you do it?

Hi,
no, I am not wanting to drive the van myself.
I am wondering if anyone out there has used a third party to transport their bike before and how it was organised and how much it cost.
