    Painting side panels

Having it bit of trouble applying the vinyl number boards on my LMF side panels and headlight shroud just can't get them good enough to be happy with.
Im considering spraying them instead has anyone tried this?
Any tips would be appreciated would they need to be lacquered to stop it

    hints for applying vinyls.
1 make sure the surface is clean and smooth.
2 mix up some water & washing uo liquid (1 pint of water too a couple of drops of waswhing up liquid).
3 if the surface is curved in 2 directions make the vinyls as small as possible i.e for numbers on clear background neatly cut out numbers. this will stop puckering when you try to fix stickers.
4 apply the water & washing up liquid too the pannel & sticky side of the vinyl (this will sound stupid unless you have tried it) the water & washing up liquid will allow you to move the vinyl.
5 once you are happy with the position use a squeegy working from the centre too the outside to remove the water. small air bubbles can be removed using a pin prick to allow the air out. if you have any puckers use a scalple to slice down the pucker, overlap the two parts and cut again down the middle of the overlap this makes a neat joint.
vinyls are best applied in a warm temperature to allow some streatching if required.
    good luck
