False neutral?

For some reason my 93 600 TA has a false neutral between 2nd & 3rd?

Is that normal for an older bike like mine bearing in mind it only really gets used in 1st,2nd,3rd for commuting around town.

morning grendel.........i think ive had that with about all the bikes ive owned in the past i just learnt to live with it !! i even have it now from time to time with me 650 ta. ( 3rd and 4th ).......aint losing sleep over it though. just annoying more than any. even the missus cruiser ( honda ) does it, again 3rd to 4th. cheers ade

My CX500 used to have a false neutral. I think it is a common fault of Honda Gearboxes.
