    Scottoiler E-System

Has everybody seen this? Am I the last person on earth to know about it?

Well if you are the last, you're last equal with me then, looks like the 'dogs danglies' though.

I would love one of them on my bike.

    I knew about it .

    But it's £200 , so I promptly forgot about it !!!!.
    2011 Triumph Tiger 800 - "Black Pussy" - MMMM Nice !!!
    2000 Suzuki DRZ400S - "Ol' Yella" - very bright
    2011 Peugeot V-Clic 50cc - "Scoot" - It's my wife's, an enjoyable ride.

    I have a house , but I can't guarantee it's safe !!

    Re: Scottoiler E-System

the normal system is pricey enough, but im the first to admit im glad ive got it (touring res behind the numberplate too) because it works and i haven't had to worry about the chain for two years. ive only ever adjusted it when the wheel came out for a tyre change.

people who moan about them have usually not put the time into setting it up right, it does take a few weeks of trial and error and the factory recommendation of two drops a minute is way too much.

    Re: Scottoiler E-System

I'd seen it - and the price.

I'll just stick with the little TUTORO one I got for £13 - does me fine, although the reservoir's not very big.

I must confess, having said that - if I bought a bike with the Scotoiler system on, I wouldn't take it off - I can see the benefits.

    Cheers,

    Re: Scottoiler E-System

Seen it ages ago but waited with baited breath for the price - this will be the limiting point to this system i think - shame cuz id love one for the technically sound system it uses for application. Cany say Id use any other of the electrical features though - hence its too dear for me.
TA700 2010 - Givi full set, Centre Stand, Scotoiller with LubeTube, Honda Tall Screen, Givi Crashbars, OEM Heated Grips, Fenda Extenda, Bar Risers, SSteel Spokes, Arrow Race-Tech DarkLine Exhaust, even bigger smile!!

TLD 2010 - 600 miles, 18 hours travelling, 4 hours sleep and no pint of guinness!! Must go back for that....
