    Panniers??

    Hi all,
    I am buying a set of Ally panniers for my KTM Adv as i have to install the fitting kit myself, should i run them at the same angle of the pannier rack / seat OR level with the top box rack?????

    HELP !!!

    I would say mount them level or maybe a little below the seat level.

    That way you can still load stuff across the seat and panniers, drybag or pillion etc.

    Just my thoughts.

    I would say as long as they are below the seat level they should be O.K. as you still need the seat for use.
    YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    How low do you go ???

    You would not want to be scraping them on the road, kerbs, verges etc
    this must be considered when you position them

    Most I've seen (including mine) are level with the rear rack - makes a nice stable platform for strapping the tent too.......

    WOW!!!! now thats what you call " a pair of panniers " !!!
    they are huge , but so well tucked in around the cans and frame , very nice , thanks
