HI guys, right i,m playing around with the idea of fitting some extra lighting to my XR250R, 90% of my commute is on unlit country roads with if the fancy takes me a couple of trails aswell.
At the moment im experimenting with just a couple of head torch,s attached to two small box section tubes to the headlight surround. with these alone I can ride without my headlight on as they throw out just as much beam distance as my full beam 35 watt. these little head torches have 8 leds in them and run off 3 AAA batteries.
Ive had a look around the web at after market LED lights and HOW EXPENSIVE ARE THEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
I,m wondering if it is possible to make up or source some 12volt leds and wire them into the lighting system, what I would really like is a beam/spot like system so I can light up the road ahead of me a damn sight better than a 35watt bulb does at the moment.
