Bear in mind, some sealed batteries, once dead, are truly dead!! They only take complete discharging so many times before they give up, and I found this out to my own expense!

I have the problem of no power to my shed so leave mine connected to a solar charger, it puts just enough back in the battery to keep it charged.
As for the mains powered chargers I have one specifically for a bike and one for a car.
The car charger is too powerful for the bike battery so I use the Selmar bike charger, it is rated at 500 mA DC, with a switch for 6 or 12 Volts .
