    Braided Hoses too long

I ordered some Goodridge braided hoses from eBay for my TA650, but the rear looks to be too long at 26.5 inches from banjo to banjo (original hose is 24"). It will fit with a struggle but fouls the spring of the shock somewhat. Anyone else had a problem with sizing of Goodridge hoses, or am I just unlucky here?

I ordered one from Wemoto and that came a bit long. I did however manage to route it so it does not foul on the suspension and stays clear of the wheel.

I suppose it might be persuaded to fit, but i'm worried about kinking/stressing the hose too much. Are braided lines easily damaged by bending them too far?

When fitting allow it to find its own position and ensure it stays on the swinging arm then use Cable ties to hold it away from the moving parts, it should not be too difficult but do not allow it to over stress.

Well i've bodged it into position so that it avoids the shock (just), but it still looks a bit crap, so it's going back. I can understand tolerances being a little out, but they actually emailed and asked which size rear line I required 24" or 30" (the TA 600 is longer), and then sent me one 10% longer.

I must have fitted about 10 sets to various bikes I've had.
Every time they come too long as you describe.

Last 2 times I specified the measurements I wanted, gave banjo angles and bolt thread pitch required. When they asked what bike it was for I said a 'one off special'.
