    UPVC Clutch cables

I'm just about to buy a new clutch cable for the AT
I believe that you can buy clutch cables that have the inner wire covered in plastic ? to avoid having to lubricate.

Has anybody tried these ?? - are they any good, and where can you buy ?

Just want to know basically the life on this type of cable compared to a traditional one and does the price differece ( I assume ) affect the life of the cable.

    Cheers

Venhill Engineering make nylocables that are as you ask about. But many OEM cables are like this nowadays. A tool that I use regularly on cables is the hydraulic cable oiler...it forces the mix that I use down through & makes old cable feel like new.
