Goodridge, HEL and Earls lines are all made in the same factory in Exeter so get the cheapest one. Or go to a hydraulics shop tell them what you want and that it's for a lawn mower and get the same thing for a 1/4 of the price. You could take you hose off get them to match it, unfortunalty industrial hydraulics places are not licensed for brake lines thats why you would have to tell them its for a lawn mower or something the quality will be the same or better than what you would get from Hel Goodridge or Earl's. I was quoted around £7-10 a line from Hose and Hydraulics

Just watch out for the rear one, for some reason it nearly always comes too long.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

    Jason
HEL are at Tedburn St Mary
and Goodridge are at Exeter airport

HEL are better value i think they havestainless ends as standard
adding stainless ends too goodridge hoses makes them more expensive than hel ones
personaly i use Nick chambers of the Caliper resto fame
he makes em very simlar to HEL with stainless ends
also supplies new copper washers with the lines
all you need to do is measure the length you need
then work out the angle for the ends and ask Nick

    Re: Which brake lines

I got my local bike shop (Ride-On in Glasgow) to make me up a rear one - took the old one in as a template - only thing was it didnt come with stainless ends and so is now looking a bit tatty - with that in mind my front ones when I get round to them, will be HEL, as for the same price as Goodrich you get stainless ends - I have goodrich on my landrover and they are fine but I really would pay extra if needed for stainless ends.............

    3 TLD's done, (2009 + 2010 + 2011) - bring on 2012

When they kick at your front door How you gonna come?
With your hands on your head Or on the trigger of your gun
When the law break in How you gonna go?
Shot down on the pavement Or waiting on death row?.............

When you order goodridge lines you have the option of which fittings you want eg stainless, cadnium or anodised or standard you just have to let them know when you order them there may be a small price difference depending on what you have

Melvin from Wemoto. Front has two separate cables to the master cylinder instead of a split. Simple to fit.
