    Hella into Ciggie socket

Hi all, I'm struggling to find a suitable Hella mounting point, and so wondered if there might be something I could use.

Hella plug into ciggie accessory socket (already have one of these wired in)

After a few t'internet searches I can only find ciggie socket into hella, not the other way around.

Okay, thats not true, only one and that was shipped from the USA and P&P put me off (so I know they do exist) I've done the usual fleabay and Maplin type places but others?

I only want it for seasonal plug in wuss jacket.

Help and advice welcome (apart from just 'man up' )

TBH the problems i have seen with lighter plugs in the past with kettles etc in the truck i would advise fitting a hella plug inplace of your lighter socket and then adapt the other way, as the hella fitting is a lot better than the lighter one,
and you are asking for trouble doing that way round

When you say Hella, do you mean a DIN socket?

Could you use the 2 in 1 connector shown here...

Thanks guys, I had spotted the capped adapters, but didn't fancy rewiring my road angel.
Maybe I just think about creating a plate to fix my Hella/Din socket and have the two (and not be so lazy) I'm a little short of space and so just looking for an easy option.

+1 on that, I have buggered a few ciggie sockets on trucks and coaches.

    Re: Hella into Ciggie socket

It seems like the Hella is a more robust set up all round, best get the diary out and do it the long (but better) way round.
