    A few days in wales...

I am playing with the idea of a few days biking in wales. Since I have(well the wife) some relatives near Abarith... or something like it that would be my starting point.Planning to camp so would anyone know a few good rides around wales and a few good campsites or places where i could pitch a tent for a night???
Would there be anyone interested to join me???
No dates planned yet, just the wanting to go feel.Might sound stupid but i am sure a lot of you understand
First place to stay would be sorted at my wifes uncles place he owns a nice big place in the middle of no where, plenty of place to camp.Plus by sheer coisidence he is a biker as well
Warning consumption of large amounts of alcohol is a strong possibility
Looking to go for maybe a long weekend or a thursday to sunday(very flexible on that)
Just thought i pick a few brains here, im sure someone will know a lot more than i do

It seems the force is not so strong in wales

I listen to what the rice crispies tell me to do

Hmmm, sounds interesting but it would depend on the date, and having my visa stamped by SWMBO.

Also Pete, do you want to come out and play on the 30th March ? Oh say you will, Please, Pleeeeeeeease

I'll take your word for it!

Depending on dates etc. I'd be interested in joining a group, Vader. Last year I did this little camping trip: Dee Duble Yuh's '01 R1150RS
I camped at the Tyllwyd Camping Site

Mr Mabel and myself would be interested in a ride/camp too depending on when and shifts and babysitters. Know quite a few good rides round wales, where you planning on going?????

Well now that my new GPS toy has arrived, I thought it could lead us astray in East Kent (A21-Flimwell-Hawkhurst-Ashford-Hythe-Rye-Hawkhurst & Back - It's another Ride magazine recommended trip )
There's a nice bimble along the seafront at Greatstone.....

Not sure where to go in wales, only thing is got to go and see the family wich is cool because he is a biker too.
They are in mid wales so that would be my starting point.
As for the rest i am open to suggestions. You see i am like a tourist, since i just arrived in the country in 2000 i still have to go and see so many places. It is just such a lovely little island.

Midwales; head north for the coast Barmouth, Harlech, cut inland at Port Madoc, Erics cafe for a nosh, Betws - y -Coed, camp Capel Curig, two half decent pubs,LLanberis pass, or Bethesda - Anglesey, breakfast, back south A470 or the coast or round the outside Shrewsbury, Hereford, Abergavenny.

All sorts of choice going north if not the coast then Dolgellau -Port Madoc.

Right, I just came back from Wales yesterday from a short brake with the family to see the family.
My wifes uncle bought a farm near Mallwyd and it is 1 1/2 miles up a minor road in the Mountains.Stunning
We talked a bit about trips up there and it looks like that i will go there around the 18th of june till wed21st of june.
I will use his place as my base and want to go on 2 Long day trips mainly along minor Roads since i am more interested in nature than touristy towns.
Definitely on the list is Mount Snowdon and surrounding areas.
So one is going to be a sort of northerly route along minor roads,so i would appreciate a few tips on what not to miss and than maybe a route and what to see for the 2nd day. Keeping in mind i would like to stay as much as possible on minor roads and want to be able to do a good 10 to 12 hours of riding
    Thanks again
