Sat 22/4/2006 South Wales run

Right Folks, me and a few friends (inc boboneleg) are going over the bridge for a run around South Wales on Sat 22nd April. The format will be mainly minor tarmac up and over the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons along with a couple of cracking A roads. There may be a few easy lanes thrown in (Grywnne Fawr?....joke!) depending on how keen people are and what the weather is doing (there will be a tarmac option!!). Coffee at the Abergavenny chuck stop and lunch at the Brecon Beacons mountain centre (good grub). Meeting points are 0845 at the OLD Severn Bridge services (Aust) in the car park at the front of the restaurant. 0930 at the Macdonalds/garage on the A4042/A472 roundabout at Pontypool. So if you fancy lots of scenery and a day away from your good ladies (or men?) I'll see you there.

I'm a tentative..... and I might bring the missus!
We're scheduled for a trip away on the bike that weekend, but the missus isn't used to riding pillion for any length of time at the moment, so we thought a rideout would be a useful starter for ten.
Will speak to her to see what she says.

Haha..very funny!

Actually, the bike is still in bits from fitting the fuel light and changing jets, I've still got spotlights and cruise control to go!

It just a little clamp that fits around the throttle, with an eccentric cam type push button thing to lock the throttle
