Should be a laugh, and we'll try and find some of the more unusual obstacles.

Anyone know of anyone Devon/Dorset/Somerset/Hampshire that has TKC80's for a reasonable price, instock and can fit before Sunday?
I have a set of TKC80's in the garage which you can have as long as you replace them.
The only problem is that I'm away tomorrow until late Friday.
You can pick them up by arrangement though from the missus.
Anyway let me know if that helps.

I get get a set from Busters, next day for £105, but it's getting the darn things fitted, everyone around here wants to supply (at inflated prices) and fit.Originally Posted by DaveS
How tricky is it for a novice to fit motorcycle tyres? Something I can do myself? I can take the wheels off, but afraid of damaging the rims, or catching the tube when putting it back together...
There's a place in Weston that will fit them.

They charge me anywhere between £5 and £15 per wheel if I take in loose tyres.

Get the tyres and get a friend round to help. If you dont one day when you need to know how to change a tube while ouit riding you wont get stuck out on the plains??.
I changed my first rear tyre Sunday, Pinched the tube when putting the tyre on, removed it fittied a second tube pinched it fittied a third tube took more care hay presto its still up. Cost me twelve pound in tubes but now feel confident to mend a puncher while out and about.
