Ok,Ok Lord Vader caught me trying to ride my bike up a tree....and then later he found me lying underneath it (the bike - not the tree).
It must have been the soft sand, or maybe the Trailwings, perhaps even the viscosity of the lube oil; it certainly couldn't have been anything I'd done

A little tip for you that I found has really helped over the years.
Try to go round tree's not up them. Its a long way up and as you found bikes are not good at climbing trees.Unless of course you get special tree climbing tyres.
I think we should all write to our MP's and demand that all tree's are cut down on health and safety grounds. I mean where will it all end?

Bleeding typical, it all went wrong about 400 yards from the end. I was doing fine on the mud, slopes & puddles - but when we got onto the soft dry sand I just couldn't control my back end.....Oh Matron !
And I think now I'm going to have to plead the 5th ammendment, the more I say the dafter it makes me look (so no change there then !).
