National Motorcycle Show, G-Mex, Manchester 5-7 January

Anybody going? I'll try and put it on the calender.

I might pick a good day and go on the bike, or go on the train if the weather's poor. The M62 isn't my idea of fun in the wind and rain

2001 Transalp XLV650. Faithful old friend still chugging away nearly 100,00miles
2007 Varadero XLV1000. Now you're torquing but sadly gone to another forum member. One of the best bikes - period.

Went today. It was cr@p. Didn't buy anything - mostly either cheap stuff being sold cheap (tools, clothing, stickers, and other tat) or biker lifestyle gear - all tassells and laces and stuff. Rip off food and drink, but the toilets were clean. Oh there was also some ace models (female type), and the Benellis and MVs were gorgeous.

Included some geezer selling a spray that made your number plate invisible to cameras - to quote him - "you can't see it, you can't feel it, you can't smell it, no-one can tell its there" So he was selling me somthing invisible, that I couldn't tell if it was applied or not and wouldn't know if it was working 'til I got a speeding ticket. £20 a tin. Yeah right!!!!
