Poole Bike Meet?

It's almost that time of year again.

Whilst I can't find anything specific, the Poole Bike Meet should be starting on Tuesday 3rd April and will run until the end of September.

6pm at Poole Quay, hundreds if not thousands of bikers gather, entrance fee is normally £1.

Anyone fancy some of this later on in the year?

Would love to. Might even be able to make that one. I think my wife is home all day so I might head down earlier in the day, pop to see my auntie along the coast and come back for the evening. I'd need to get all the way back home afterwards though. What time does it start to empty out?

Oh it empties quite late, but you can leave straight away if you need to

There are loads of pubs and chippies, so people tend to hang around for a long time.

I live in Poole and it is a great meet, am sure i could do this, and if required could also do a cup of tea and a bit to eat on Sandbanks (where we live) for anyone that would like.

Hopefully I should get down to Poole at least a couple of times this year - usually early finish at work and take a scenic route down to Poole.

I also normally do a couple of runs down there in the year..... so am up for this and leading a group from the Bristol direction if we want to meet up down there.

I'm definitely up for joing the ranks of @'s down at Poole.

I've been a quite a few times in the last couple of years, as it's so close, but so far not on my @.

It's a great meet, just park up, grab a bag of chips, and wander around the vast array of two wheel machinery.......there's something for everyone.

If a few of us are going it might be an idea for at least a couple of us to meet up on the way and then try and save some space between the @'s for the others as it gets VERY busy very quickly

I'm liking the sound of this. If my plans work out, I could pop down to my parents for lunch, call by my outlaws in the afternoon and meet up wtih Stormforce (the outlaws live in Lymington) and we could head off together from there.
