I'm off down to BMF on Sunday, should arrive about 10am.

Like ships that pass in the night, just got back, burnt to a crisp, deaf and had a good rant at the Memba rally organisers (the paid ones not the volunteers who did a good job) on Friday night too, perfik weekend really.

Great day, weather superb and lots of goodies.

Mission of the day complete and new jacket purchased.
Should have been £150 got for £65

Bmf is the only place to buy new kit, helmets were for peanuts.

I had a great time at the BMF considering it was a late decision to go.

My overnight stay was in a small village called Nether Heywood nr Northampton.............



Nice pint of Guiness and a cheeseburger and chips even though I arrived at 21.30, and a great breakfast in the morning.

Nice ride in the morning to the show, Africa Twin went like a dream.

Saw this very yellow Transalp at the Honda owners club stand



Later on I came across some friends.............Austin Vince and Lois Pryce. They were selling their books and DVD's of their round the world adventures, a must read for anyone who hasn't so far



On the way out there was another Africa Twin parked near mine........................was it you ??
