Hi.....has anybody out there been to Croatia? I am thinking about doing it in July. Usual questions...how long did it take,what route etc etc. The plan is to go down to Dubrovnik and travel back up the coast to Pula. Any thoughts would be gratefully accepted

Yup, done the whole coast of Croatia top to bottom. Absolutely loved it and am desperate to go and do it again, it's a really beautiful place to go riding.

Wish I was going again, and I'd certainly spend a little longer in Croatia...we kinda blazed through it. Well, we kinda blazed through everywhere! Split and Dubrovnik are definitely worth a visit and a couple of days mooching time.

By all accounts there's some fantastic scenery inland, but our mission was to hug the coast as far round the med as we could...avoiding countries of certain doom!

If you plan to ride to Dubrovnik, it's really worth visting KOTOR in Montenegro which is just 40 miles to south. I personally liked it more than Dubrovnik which is also very nice.
