Did a dry run today, needed to get out of the house, my nan died friday and needed to clear my head.
My house to junct 5 M40 in 50 mins, not bombing it just a nice casual ride, cuppa in m40 services then had a ride round high wycombe via studley green etc, reminisced when i used to spend weekends in sands.
Good ride back via aylesbury, winslow, buckingham and stony stratford 165 miles did the trick looking forward to meeting the guys next week and seeing some more roads around bucks/oxon.

Let me know. Anyone that's going to come, I'll be happy to pm you my mobile numbers?

Hope to see everyone next week

That sound great, I'm not to familiar with the area, I'm wondering where exactly we could all meet up. I notice on the OS map, just up from junction 5 is a carpark here (OS Grid Ref. SU 73215 96667) maybe meet-up here at 1100? Unless someone knows anywhere easier, I just looked for a big P on the map!

I popped over for a reccie today and if you go through Stokenchurch to the next village, Studley Green, you'll see a big garden centre on the right hand side of the road with a coffee area. If we meet there we can get a coffee and a bun before we take off...
Had a look over a few miles of lances and tracks too - nearly didn't come into do this shift tonight!

Blimey, you fellas are so clever. How'd you DO that? Yup, about hundred and fifty yards past that junction you're pointing at. But THAT road you're pointing at is where we begin. I'll post a photie of it in the morning, I took it today when I was having alook cos I'm a bit nerdy like that
